Eating and Drinking
In the classical atmosphere of the restaurant “Friedrich Wilhelm” we cultivate an innovative, novel German cuisine.
With our philosophy we follow the tradition of Bayrisches Haus. Frederick William IV, the romanticist and aesthete on the Prussian throne, travelled frequently to Italy and indulged in an Italian lifestyle. What could be more appropriate than building on this tradition?
Alexander Dressel’s long stays in Italy, Austria and Switzerland are reflected by the exquisite menu card of the gourmet restaurant “Friedrich Wilhelm”, focusing on organic, regional and seasonal produce.
In 2004 he was awarded a Michelin star for the first time to honour his culinary arts. During the same year, the magazine “Der Feinschmecker” elected him “Rising Chef of the Year”. In 2007 he was awarded the title of “Brandenburg Masterchef” and in 2007 and 2008, he was awarded the “Grand Gourmet Award Brandenburg”.
In 2014 Alexander Dressel was again awarded a Michelin star.
